Sports Medicine Coverage for Professional Athletes by AOC Sports

Mobile, Alabama – The ASBA is pleased to announce Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic (AOC) as the Official Sports Medicine Partner for the league’s second season in Mobile County this summer. The 2019 season marks the second consecutive year that an AOC Certified Athletic Trainer will be present on each game day to provide ASBA’s professional athletes with injury assessment, evaluation, referral, and therapeutic exercise for minor injuries.

AOC also offers ASBA players in-office VIP Appointment access and other highly personalized physical therapy services at their state-of-the-art facilities.

“Working with Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic has been an absolute joy. We have dozens of players who all have their own specific needs and the staff at AOC always handles it seamlessly,” said Michael Chiaradio, CEO of ASBA. “Of course we hope for minimal injuries but having people of this caliber working with our players is a significant asset to the entire league.”

Alabama Orthopaedic Clinic has been treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in Southern Alabama for more than 50 years. AOC will be providing ASBA’s professional athletes with their athletic trainers for on field services as well as VIP access to their team of sports medicine specialists and state of the art facilities.
